History

Sea Kittens are a coed recreational amateur slow-pitch softball team based in Madison, Wisconsin. Established in 2010, Sea Kittens welcome players of all abilities (except maybe those who are too good for low-level coed rec softball), and play with unbridled enthusiasm regardless of skill.

The Cats played in MSCR from 2010- Summer 2021, and switched over to MSSC in Fall, 2021. The team played the role of Gracious Bridesmaid, losing four MSSC championship games, until finally getting a picture with that damn banner in Spring 2024.

Since 2010, 105 different players have suited up for the Cats, and while only three original Sea Kittens still play, 9 of the squad's current 13 members have been together for more than 100 games.
